Yes News was launched in November 2019 by a group of IT and Media professionals. Milton Francis, its founder is a senior journalist having more than 25 years of experience in print, and television journalism. Yesnews launched in 2019 is owned by Exelligence Communications Pvt Ltd , a private limited company formed in India in November 2020. Prior to that Yes news was owned by Yes News network, a media and content company based at Kochi .

Yes News has launched short video platforms , Yes Malayalam and Yes English in 2020 . This media start up focusing on the next generation viewers and audience. This platform curates and produces video and audio content for the smart phone savvy youngsters across India and world
